Cost Catch — Terms of Service
Cost Catch is a Snowflake Native App offered by RemoDone, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("RemoDone," "we," "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between RemoDone and the organization that installs or uses Cost Catch ("you"). By installing or using Cost Catch, you accept these Terms. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're authorized to bind it.

1. How Cost Catch works — and where your data stays
Cost Catch installs from the Snowflake Marketplace and runs as an application entirely inside your own Snowflake account. Its code, its scheduled jobs, and every table it produces live within your Snowflake environment.
Two things follow, and they are the heart of these Terms:
- Your data never leaves your account. Cost Catch's automated pipelines pull each vendor's billing and usage data into your account on the schedule you set. Nothing is sent out of your account — not to RemoDone, and not to any third party. There is no Cost Catch server and no external service.
- Cost Catch can only touch what you grant it. Under the Snowflake Native App Framework, the app cannot access any of your data unless you explicitly grant it access from within your own account. You approve what it can do when you install it, and you can change or revoke that access at any time.
2. The relationship with Snowflake
You get, run, and pay for Cost Catch through Snowflake. That means:
- Your use of Snowflake and the Marketplace is governed by your agreement with Snowflake (including Snowflake's Provider and Consumer Terms). These Terms are RemoDone's own terms for Cost Catch and sit on top of your Snowflake agreement; they don't replace it.
- Snowflake handles billing, invoicing, and taxes for your Cost Catch purchase. RemoDone does not collect or store your payment details.
- The Snowflake compute and storage you use to run Cost Catch are billed to you by Snowflake and are your responsibility.
3. Your license to use Cost Catch
Subject to these Terms and your payment of applicable fees, RemoDone grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use Cost Catch within your Snowflake account(s) for your internal business purposes during your subscription term. This license may be suspended or ended only as described in Section 12.
You agree not to (and not to let others): copy, reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract the source or logic of Cost Catch, except where law permits and Snowflake's platform allows; resell or provide Cost Catch to third parties as a service; remove proprietary notices; or use Cost Catch to build a competing product.
4. We own Cost Catch; you own your data
RemoDone owns Cost Catch. RemoDone and its licensors keep all right, title, and interest in Cost Catch — its software, technology, documentation, designs, know-how, and any improvements — and all intellectual property rights in them. These Terms license Cost Catch to you; they do not sell it. Any feedback you give us about Cost Catch, we may use freely.
You own your data. As between us, you own all data Cost Catch ingests into your Snowflake account and everything it produces there. RemoDone claims no ownership of it and, in normal operation, has no access to it.
5. Your responsibilities
Because Cost Catch runs in your environment, you are responsible for:
- your Snowflake account — its security, users, roles, and the privileges you grant Cost Catch at install;
- connecting vendors — granting read-only access to your own storage (for file-based clouds) and providing read-only API keys stored as secrets in your own account (for API vendors), and being authorized to access and ingest that data;
- the ingested data — its accuracy, retention, deletion, and any onward use, including any personal data it may contain; and
- compliance — using Cost Catch, and each vendor's data, in line with your agreements with those vendors, with Snowflake, and with applicable law.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Cost Catch to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, get around a vendor's terms, or introduce harmful code. You're responsible for your users.
You will also comply with all applicable export-control and economic-sanctions laws, and you won't use Cost Catch if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, an embargoed country or if you are on a restricted-party or denied-persons list.
7. About the numbers
Vendor billing and usage data is often provisional when first available and is revised over time. Cost Catch labels figures as final, provisional, or unsettleable and keeps settled and unsettled data separate to support reconciliation. But you acknowledge:
- vendor exports are reconcilable, not identical to your invoices — they can differ due to taxes, adjustments, credits, and rounding;
- vendor-specific gaps can exist (for example, overlapping exports may double-count, and disabled exports can leave holes that can't be backfilled); and
- RemoDone does not warrant that any figure equals a vendor invoice to the penny.
You are responsible for your own financial reconciliation and decisions. Cost Catch is an analysis tool — not an accounting system of record, and not tax, accounting, or financial advice.
8. Third parties
Cost Catch depends on your Snowflake account and on the vendors whose data you ingest (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenAI, Anthropic, and others). RemoDone isn't responsible for those third parties — their availability, their data formats or accuracy, or changes they make. Your use of each is governed by your agreements with them.
9. Warranties and disclaimers
RemoDone warrants that it will provide Cost Catch consistent with these Terms and its documentation. Except for that, Cost Catch is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," and RemoDone disclaims all other warranties — express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free or that any figure will match a vendor invoice.
Security is stated by architecture. Cost Catch runs inside your Snowflake account, keeps your data there with no egress to anyone, and never receives your credentials. RemoDone makes no claim of any specific certification (such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA) unless it says so in a signed writing.
Beta and pre-release features. Any feature or connector we identify as beta, preview, early-access, or similar is provided AS IS for evaluation only, without warranty of any kind. It may be changed, limited, or withdrawn at any time, and you should not rely on it for production or financial decisions. The cautions in Section 7 apply to it with full force.
10. Intellectual-property indemnity
We defend you. RemoDone will defend you against a third-party claim that Cost Catch, as provided by us and used per these Terms, infringes that party's patent, copyright, or trademark or misappropriates its trade secret, and will pay damages finally awarded or agreed in settlement. If Cost Catch is or may be enjoined, RemoDone may, at its option, obtain the right for you to keep using it, modify it to be non-infringing, or end the affected license and refund prepaid, unused fees. This doesn't cover claims arising from your data or vendor data, from combining Cost Catch with things we didn't provide, from changes we didn't make, or from use after we tell you to stop. This is your sole remedy for IP claims.
You defend us. You will defend RemoDone against third-party claims arising from your data, your use of Cost Catch in breach of these Terms or law, or your breach of your agreements with vendors or Snowflake.
Each side's indemnity requires prompt notice, control of the defense by the indemnifying party (with reasonable cooperation), and no settlement that admits fault or imposes obligations on the other without consent.
11. Limitation of liability
No indirect damages. To the maximum extent allowed by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — even if warned they were possible.
Cap. Each party's total liability under these Terms won't exceed the fees you paid for Cost Catch in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Carve-outs and enhanced cap. The no-indirect-damages exclusion and the 12-month cap do not apply to, and the following remain uncapped: (a) your payment obligations; and (b) your infringement or misuse of RemoDone's intellectual property.
For each party's indemnification obligations under Section 10 and either party's breach of its confidentiality obligations, the 12-month cap is replaced by an enhanced cap of two times (2×) the fees you paid for Cost Catch in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This enhanced cap — not unlimited liability — is the ceiling for those obligations, including RemoDone's duty to defend you against IP claims under Section 10.
Nothing limits liability that law won't allow to be limited.
12. Term, suspension, and termination
These Terms apply while Cost Catch is installed or your subscription is active. Either party may terminate for the other's uncured material breach after 30 days' written notice. You can stop using and uninstall Cost Catch at any time.
When these Terms end, your license ends and you must stop using Cost Catch. Data already landed in your Snowflake account stays yours and stays in your account for you to keep or delete. Sections that should outlast termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, confidentiality, and governing law) survive.
13. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's non-public information with reasonable care and use it only for this relationship. This doesn't cover information that's public, independently developed, or rightfully received without a confidentiality obligation.
14. Changes
We may update Cost Catch and these Terms. Material changes take effect when we post them or as your order form provides; continued use after that means you accept them. If a change materially reduces Cost Catch's core functionality during a paid term, you may terminate the affected subscription and receive a pro-rata refund of prepaid, unused fees.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Delaware, waive any objection to venue there, and waive any right to a jury trial. Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms must be brought within one year after the claim arose, except where applicable law does not permit such a limit.
16. General
These Terms, with any order form and any DPA, are the entire agreement on this subject and replace prior understandings. The Privacy Policy describes our data practices and is referenced for that purpose only; except for the DPA (which is contractual), it is descriptive and not a warranty. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stands. Neither party may assign these Terms without the other's consent, except to a successor in a merger or sale of substantially all assets. Delay in enforcing isn't a waiver. Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform (other than payment obligations) caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Notices to RemoDone go to team@costcatch.ai (support: support@costcatch.ai); we may give you notices by email to your account contact or through the app or the Marketplace listing.
